Description
Update!
BIG update, revamping pretty much everything:
Items:
Void Pearl: does what the void rift did with 10 uses. crafted with an enderpearl in the center, surrounded by 4 obsidian, with magma cream in the corners
Ender omelette: now actually an omelette, allows you to press "R" and turn off your gravity as well as its original function (pressing g to teleport between void and overworld), gotten from cooking the dragon egg
void tools: iron tools retextured, crafted w/ voidstone
void armor: the chestplate gives you levitation, the leggings remove gravity, and the boots give you slowfall (no helmet) crafted with voidstone and a void pearl on each side: chestplate they replace top row, leggings bottom, and boots middle (top half of the recipie)
Potion of the lightbearer and its variants: give you levitation for 15 sec, glowing for 60 sec, health boost for 60 sec, and night vision for 60 sec. (brewed w/ an amethyst shard on night vision)
totem of the void: summons the boss: the pillar guardian. crafted with a void lantern in the middle, nether stars on the sides, shulker shells above those and mob heads below, with voidstone walls above and below the lantern
Pure void: works like netherite on voidstone tools, drops from pillar guardian
infused tools: better than netherite
Blocks:
voidstone + variants
cobbled voidstone + variants
voidstone bricks + variants
voidstone lantern
cracked end stone: can convert stone, cobble, and stone bricks into their respective voidstone variants by right-clicking them on the end stone.
entities:
living pillars: at one block tall, these things are ambient mobs and a renewable source of void pearls
pillar guardian: the older brother to the living pillars: will shoot at you and do melee attacks. is a boos and is summoned with the void totem (totem of the void), and has 200 hp
generation:
The void dimension consists now of the deep void biome, in which there is no floor, and you float at y=64 in stark contrast to my previous build. There are small and big pillars of voidstone that spawn, as well as spawners for the living pillars. everything is floating on void. I kept the enchantment particles though.
Advancements:
One with the void: eat the ender omelette
+ one hidden advancement for getting a infused hoe
Note: dragon eggs can be crafted with dragon head in the center, eyes of ender on either side, nether star above them, netherite below them, and crying obsidian on top and bottom of the head

Old mod instructions (1.2.0 or older)
to enter this dimension, you first need to craft a Personal rift by surrounding a eye of ender with 4 phantom membranes, but leaving the corners empty. this rift has 100 uses, and can be repaired fully by crafting it with phantom membranes, but this removes any enchantments you might have, like mending and unbreaking. upon entering the dimension, you are teleported to y=52, given blindness, and glowing. this will disappear after leaving. the dimension is filled with unbreakable and pitch-black blocks, but if you right-click them, they will disappear if above y level 50. one block in here is ten in the overworld, but beware, as upon exit, you fall from two blocks above sky limit. if you are tired of fighting phantoms to recharge your rift, then you just need to kill the ender dragon, cook it's egg, eat the ender omelet (actually sunny side up), and then you can just press "G" to teleport. you will also be unblinded (if this does not work, try holding the key until the dimension is loaded).
more things about the dimension:
you can sleep/respawn there.
compasses don't work.
it is completely dark (no sky light).
water can exist here.
no mobs can spawn here
you are surrounded by enchantment particles (decreased / minimal particles are recommended for crappy computers).
you can't see that far in any direction, even without blindness.
if your rift isn't taking you back, try sneak right-clicking.
feel free to use in a modpack, just tell me, because I might want to play it!
