The Time Watch is a gameplay-enhancing mod that introduces two powerful new tools to Minecraft: a time-stopping device and throwable knives. Both items can be crafted in survival mode and open up new strategies for combat and exploration.
Features:
The Time Watch:
- Crafting Recipe: Place a Nether Star in the center of the crafting grid and surround it on all four sides with Gold Ingots.
- Function: When used, it plays a unique activation sound and stops time for 10 seconds.
- Effect: This works the same way as running the
/tick freezecommand — all mobs, projectiles, and environmental events are paused.
Uses in Gameplay:
- Escape dangerous situations without taking damage.
- Set up the perfect attack without enemy retaliation.
- Pause hazards such as falling sand, lava flows, or incoming arrows.
Throwing Knife:
- Crafting Recipe: Place a Stick in the crafting grid, then an Iron Ingot in the top-right slot above it.
- Function: Can be thrown similarly to a Trident — fast and straight flight for precise hits.
Uses in Gameplay:
- Great for quick ranged attacks without a bow.
- Ideal for mobile combat styles where speed matters.
- Can be crafted in bulk for extended use in battle.
Impact on Gameplay:
- Introduces tactical combat options — control the flow of battle with time stops, then finish the job with precision knives.
- Adds a unique survival mechanic that can save you from certain death or turn the tide of a fight.
- Keeps recipes balanced by using rare resources (Nether Star for the Time Watch, Iron for Throwing Knives).
