1.4.0: The "Red Planet Update"

 

Some additions include...

- The planet Mars, and a ton of new content for it, including three new mobs!

- A new telescope block for setting the target planet of a new space travel card.

- A new coordinate card for setting the arrival coordinates of a spacecraft- or building missiles...

- A transfer calculator item for checking how much fuel it will take to travel from one planet to another.

- Martian Rats: passive ambient mobs.

- Sand Foxes: tamable mobs which are similar to wolves and can be tamed with martian bushes.

- Redstone Slimes: similar to Earth slimes but are red in color, can grow and multiply on their own, can absorb smaller redstone slimes, and drop redstone gel, which is required to craft a new armor. They spawn high up on mountains on Mars.

- Mk2 fuel tank and rocket engine blocks.

- New "Power Suit" armor pieces that provide more protection, allow for faster running and mining, and increase strength while fighting. Although  the chestplate only has half the oxygen capacity of a regular space suit.

- Cheaper metallic structural blocks for players on survival mode.

- A new ore on Mars, crystalline redstone. The blocks can be used to build wire world style circuitry, and can be powered with any redstone power source.

- Crafting gunpowder with sulfur and charcoal now yields 4 gunpowder instead of 2.

- Particle effects for spacecraft engines.

- As you may expect- countless minor improvements and bug fixes.
