🛡️ The Rust Mod Update v1.2: Fortify Your Base and Prepare for Combat! 💣
Hello, survivors of The Rust! This update focuses on giving you more control, security, and transparency in managing your bases. Get ready to build with more confidence and repair the damage after a raid!
🔒 New Features: Total Security and Control!
-
Block Ownership System (Anti-Griefing):
-
Blocks are now the exclusive property of the player who placed them.
-
Other players CANNOT break your blocks with tools or by hand.
-
The only way for third parties to remove them remains via Raid (Bombs or TNT).
-
-
New Block Durability View:
-
When a block takes explosive damage, you can now check its exact condition.
-
How to Check: Press the ALT key and LEFT-CLICK on the damaged block.
-
Display: The remaining durability of the block will be shown on your experience bar (player bar).
-
-
Removal/Relocation Restriction:
-
It is only possible to remove or relocate a block (collect it) if it has 100% of its durability.
-
If you try to remove a damaged block, a message will be sent in the chat warning about the restriction.
-
-
🛠️ Block Restoration System (Post-Raid):
-
You can now restore your damaged blocks after a raid attempt!
-
Use the specific restoration item for the block type and RIGHT-CLICK on the damaged block to repair it.
-
🎨 Changes: Visual and Gameplay Improvements
-
Enhanced Visual Damage Feedback:
-
The visualization of the damaged block is clearer. Now, when a block takes damage, it starts emitting particles to visually warn that its integrity has been compromised.
-
-
C4 Bounding Box Adjustment:
-
The C4's bounding box (hitbox) has been adjusted and no longer occupies the space of an entire block. This should improve the placement and accuracy of the explosive.
-
⚠️ Work In Progress: Temporary Deactivation
-
Temporary Deactivation of Raid Hours:
-
The Raid Hours system has been temporarily disabled.
-
This pause is necessary so that we can develop and refine this system, ensuring it is polished and fully configurable (including the option to activate/deactivate and set hours) before being reactivated in the future.
-
Watch the update video to see all the visual changes and the new repair system in action!
What is the next feature you'd most like to see in The Rust mod?
