Have you ever been mining and found yourself running out of torches?
I have and it is made even more annoying by the fact that coal doesn't generate deep down at the levels I would be mining.
You won't have to have this problem ever again with my mining helmet, it lights up the area around you as if you had a torch on your head.
To craft this helmet you just put an iron helmet and either a torch, or soul torch into a crafting table (The torch variation makes no difference.).
I am a modder that mostly focuses mostly on making little quality of life features for Minecraft (my favourite game), a lot of the mods I make are based on little pet peeves I may have with certain areas of the game. There have been many times where I was mining down at deepslate levels and ran out of both torches and coal, this means I must leave my mining expedition to find more coal. It is very rare that mobs spawn in the 2 high, 1 wide tunnels I make while strip mining, so rare that I have never come across it so you shouldn't worry about mob spawns, it may be advisable to use torches to light up any tunnel of the strip mines you traverse constantly.
