The Minecraft Update version 0.5.0

  1. Added Sorcerer as a villager profession, with unique trades. Uses Enchanting table as profession block.
  2. Removed annoying sounds from SandCaves biome.
    1. Changed to Soul Sand Valley loop and removed Additions Sounds.
  3. Ruined portals can now generate in SandCaves biome.
  4. Added Willem Dafoe painting
  5. Added biome FrozenCliffs, a frozen wasteland with pine trees and taiga villages.
  6. Added achievement Sorcery! for receiving a pig spawn egg from Sorcerer.
  7. Added silver, which is 7x stronger than iron (insanely op). The dust must be made into ingots by crafting, but the dust can also be eaten for extra saturation when your hunger is full. Silver only generates in the deepest depths of the world.
  8. Moved watermark to menu as opposed to during gameplay
  9. Updated SandCaves to actually generate in caves, and fixed a bug in generation bringing it from 17+ percent of surface area down to about 4
    1. Updated all biomes's generation due to bugs causing them to generate at insane amounts of surface area. Some were as high as an estimated 50% attempted generation!
