v1.4 delayed due to major issues with certain mechanics, and my current personal obsession with the Fallout franchise.
This mod aims to fully remake the LOTR Mod by Mevans, now for Minecraft 1.12.2. It ports blocks, items, and the like from the original, allowing the LOTR Mod to have compatibility with far more mods than previously possible. Some features from Renewed will be copied over as well, with some texture changes. Also planned are new features exclusive to this remake, including several that were often requested by fans. I hope you enjoy this mod, and get that same feeling the LOTR Mod has always brought to the game.
What's in the mod now? I've added roughly 1000 blocks and items so far, mainly focused on building and crafting (while there is a selection of foods and drinks). Features not added yet include world gen, mobs, quests, and factions. There's definitely a long way to go, but with enough time and effort and a little bit of help, this'll turn out better than anything that's been done before.
Notes on file naming:
- "pre" at end: A pre-release. Unlikely to show up here much; normally reserved for testers.
- A "b" at the end: A minor update fixing a problem with the latest release
- "t[number]": a test release. Never gonna see that here... :)
