It has been a while... but I have brought some fun stuff :)

This update was focused pretty heavily on balance, bug fixing, and optimization. The results mean this mod should be a bit more fun, and work with other mods a lot more seamlessly.

- Added a new mob: the Rotting Goop! They are a difficult mob, and each time you kill them they get a bit smaller :)

- The bone launcher is now obtainable in survival! It can be found from wights and fester forest chests.

- Added "goopy jello", a new high - saturation food dropped by the Rotting Goop

- Lots of miscellaneous texture adjustments to make things look cleaner

- Organized the creative tab. Should also reflect in JEI. Just a lot nicer to look at and find items.

- A lot of mob health/damage adjustments. Overall, mobs do a LOT more damage to make them a lot more dangerous. Forgemaster is unchanged.

- Increased Volatile Ghost explosion damage, and stopped it from dropping loot when it fell from trees.

- Loot from mobs was decreased a lot, because it took me like 2 minutes to get most of my added items. Items are very likely to be found in structures, if you don't want to kill a bunch of mobs.

- Added the Goopy Stick, which is just a paxel (mines anything with diamond efficiency)

- Added the "slippery goop" bauble, which makes you immune to slowness

- Added 2 new pretty flowers! One is a pink Amaranth that gives absorption when you break it, and the other is a slimy flower that gives jump boost when you pass through it

- Changed and optimized how I generated vegetation in my dimension - now a lot easier to add things, and less janky

- Changed the name of "rotting catalyst" to be more unique

- Volatile Sword now just uses vanilla flame particles, because it looks a bit nicer. Will probably update the old texture later.

- Added an entire new biome called the Slimy Plains! Very pretty, and filled entirely with the slimy flowers and slimy trees. Has an increased spawn rate of rotting goops.

- fixed an issue where you wouldn't unlock the rotting pie recipe ever (for vanilla crafting book)

- Added some items to chest loot tables across the board

- Fester Ocean biome now generates foliage on islands that happen to pop up

- Added the acidic goop potion effect - essentially poison, but it ignores armor. Pretty painful!

- Decreased Volatile Ghost spawn rate, because they could get annoying

- Added the Goopy Sword. Doesn't do a lot of damage per swing, but inflicts the acidic goop effect for 5 seconds, dealing up to 30 damage!

- Massively buffed mechanical armor. It comes from a boss, shouldn't it be strong?

- Added Goopy Armor - this armor set is focused around swimming, with the 2 piece bonus granting water breathing, and the 4 set bonus granting conduit power and dolphins grace. Wearing any piece of this set also inflicts acidic goop effect on anything that attacks you!

- Generally increased the spawn rate of structures

- Buffed the bone scythe, and also made it a bit rarer, so it wasn't always outclassed by the life scythe

- Added the Abandoned Home structure, with hidden gems and Rotting Goop loot!

- Banshees don't throw you as far as they used to

- Fixed a funny bug where you could just spam meteor wand on entities

 

I am pretty hyped for next update! I will be adding a couple mobs and structures to the oceans, to make them more exciting! Stay tuned :)
