A small, simple mod that brings Dwarves into the world of Minecraft! Adds dwarf NPCs , 2 new structures to discover while exploring and a new Dwarven Steel Tool Set

Adventure Series: The Dwarven Realms (Early Version)
Bring dwarven life to your world with voiced Dwarf NPCs, dwarven structures to discover, a coin-based trade system, and underground Dwarf Miners that actively mine in caves.

This mod is in early development and will continue expanding over time.

Where Structures Spawn

Dwarven structures currently generate in the following biomes:

Mountains & Highlands

  • Windswept Hills

  • Windswept Forest

  • Windswept Gravelly Hills

  • Meadow

  • Stony Peaks

  • Jagged Peaks

  • Frozen Peaks

  • Grove

  • Snowy Slopes

Taiga

  • Taiga

  • Old Growth Pine Taiga

  • Old Growth Spruce Taiga

  • Snowy Taiga

Stone / Coastal

  • Stony Shore 


Current Features

Dwarf NPCs

  • Voiced Dwarf NPCs with improved animations and combat behaviour

  • Pack Aggro: attacking one dwarf alerts nearby dwarves and the group retaliates together

  • Dwarves fight Zombies, Skeletons, and Spiders

    • They do not target Creepers, Endermen, or Witches

Dwarf Miners

  • Dwarf Miners spawn naturally in caves below Y=50

  • Miners periodically mine nearby stone/ore blocks to make underground areas feel alive

  • Miners use pickaxes and include a mining animation

Trading & Progression

  • Added Dwarven Coin and Dwarven Steel Ingots

  • Dwarven Steel is dwarf-forged only: trade a Dwarven Coin to a dwarf to receive a Dwarven Steel Ingot

  • Added a full set of Dwarven Steel Tools

    • 2500 durability due to the high crafting cost

    • Sword and Axe are slightly stronger than Netherite (intended as late-game gear)

Exploration & Loot

  • Dwarven structures generate naturally with lootable containers (chests/barrels)

  • Dwarves can drop Iron Ingots and/or Gold Ingots when slain

  • Dwarven Steel armor and weapons (future expansion)
