The Legendary Update is finally here! See below the initial description for info on the new content added!

The Dragon Bard adds multiple musical instruments to the game:

Violin (and bow of course!)

Electric Guitar (2 variations)

Lute

Flute

Lyre Harp

Each of these instruments can be activated to bring up their respective song menus. Several of them can also access the Group Song menu, which can be used to select parts for multi-player performances! 

The instruments are meant to be held in the left hand, so the animations won't display correctly otherwise! 

To play a solo song, simply select one of the songs from the menu and the animations and song will play. Group songs are a bit trickier - in order for them to work correctly, all players must select their respective parts at the same time (each group song has its own part selection menu). Note that the sound for group songs will only play if at least one player has the "Lead" part selected. Without this, the animations for everyone else will play silently. 

To cancel the animations and music mid-song, simply equip the instrument back in the right hand and click/punch with them. It will reset the song and cooldown. 

All instruments can be found in their own tab in the Creative menu or crafted using different materials also added from this mod. You should be able to find the recipes in the crafting book. 

Bonus - I made the instruments scale to their actual size on item frames so you can hang them up on your wall Guitar Center style! 

Update 2.0.0 - Now Featuring LEGENDARY Instruments!

The Legendary Update features an upgraded variant of every instrument from the original version of the mod. A majority of these Legendary Instruments have entirely new models, and all of them have their own exclusive playable solo! (See images section for a sneak peak at the new instruments)

The Legendary variants can be crafted at a standard crafting table by combining the original instrument with the new Legendary Bard Tome. Keep in mind both instruments and items in this mod cannot be found in any loot chests - only crafted. Check the recipe book for further info. 

If you can manage to obtain all five Legendary Instruments, you and four other friends can team up to play an ultimate group song together! Simply open the Legendary Group Song menu from your respective instruments, and when all players are ready, click your instrument parts simultaneously. If done correctly, you will witness the ultimate Dragon Bard band performance with a few added surprises (visual effects only).
