This mod expands on darkness as a mechanic. Not just visually, but as something you have to play around.
You’ll find new gear built around light vs darkness, materials tied to both, and a boss at the end that pushes the whole system.
Gear & Progression
You’re not locked into one playstyle.
- Dark Armor rewards staying in low light
- Light Armor protects you from darkness effects
Combat
- Dark Sword slows and withers targets
- Light Sword poisons and reveals enemies
Materials & Building
- Light and Dark Shards
- Dark Stone + full block set (bricks, slabs, stairs)
- Light and Dark lamps

It’s not meant to be trivial, and it ties into the rest of the mod’s mechanics. Meant to be fought with endgame loot.
