Description
The Basics is a mod that adds various new early game items to the game, with a heavy lean on variable crafting.
IT IS SUGGESTED YOU USE JEI IN ORDER TO SEE ALL THE POSSIBLE RECIPES. THERE IS A LOT.
THAT BEING SAID, MANY ITEMS ARE CRAFTED IN THE WAY YOU EXPECT.
AT THE BOTTOM, THERE WILL BE A LIST FOR EACH TAG THAT CORRESPONDS TO WHAT THE DESCRIPTIONS ARE TALKING ABOUT.
--ITEMS--
Flint Knife: A simple knife, crafted with a blade, a twine item, and a handle.
Small Stone: Like stone, but small and throwable. Made with any stone type (not cobblestone), and can be used to make cobblestone by combining 4 together.
Hand Guard: While worn in the off hand, provides weak resistance to all damage but constantly takes damage in the process. Crafted with 2 twine items and one handle item.
Glass Shard: Crafted with any glass block. Purely a crafting ingredient, and cannot be turned back into glass.

Pikes: Same bounding box/model as a pressure plate. Made with 2 or 3 sharp items in a row. 2 only provides 10, whilst 3 provides 16.
Handles: Stick, Bamboo, Bone
Blades: Flint, Small Stone, Glass Shard
Twine: String, all saplings, Fern, Dead Bush, Feather, Sugar Cane, and that one weird mangrove thing.
