ATTENTION: This mod is discontinued. I plan on remaking it from the ground up, sometime in the future.
If you somehow ignored the title, this is a mod based on the concept of the Backrooms, which at this point needs no introduction.
THIS MOD IS IN IT'S EARLY STAGES, AND IS STILL VERY BUGGY.
Warning: This mod is very hard, and has a trial and error like learning system. Expect death (unless you watch my video explaining literally everything lmao)
The map is generated using a jigsaw like random room generation, completely unbound. This leads to massive, dungeon like backrooms with millions of rooms to explore! (and when we mean unbound, we really do mean unbound)
This mod will be constantly updated with new content, features, and levels! If you don't know all that much about the backrooms i suggest going to one of the many wikis to learn more about the backrooms!
Levels
- Level 0, a mono yellow office building with infinite rooms inside.
- Sublevel 0.2, a maze of destruction! Entity Infestation.
- Level 1, a concrete maze of tight rooms and halls
- Level 2, a series of hallways all leading to dead ends. If you're lucky, you may find the exit. The pipes make the place scorching hot!
- Level 3, a mechanical series of halls with deadly spikes! Good luck running away from insanities with the blindness effect!
- Level Fun, We have so much fun here! =)
Entities
- Hallucination - Invisible entity that makes you question your sanity.
- Hound, works similar to the Duller.
- Duller , Walks closer when you turn your back.
- Smiler, running away provokes it.
- The Wretched, zombie like entities that are very slow.
- Partygoer - A friendly entity that will give you cake and balloons!
- The Cause - I'm the one who started all of our wonderful parties!
Items
Reality Distorter: The gateway to the backrooms.
Almond Water: Gives you regeneration and fills you up.
Lucky O' Milk: Has 2 flavors with different effects!
1 - Luck: Chance for regen or poison. It might even give you both!
2 - Strawberry: Gives speed 2.
3 - Blue Raspberry - Makes you colder.
4 - Orange - makes you warmer.
More flavors are soon to come!
Spacetime Radio: Teleports you to any main level in your area! However, using it is risky...
Note: Cannot be used in enigmatic levels or the surface.
Neutrum - Currently Useless.
Vantablack - Used in dark magic!
Revelight - Used in dark magic!
Invitation: An invite to our party! Just use this to send you right there! =)
To be added in the next update:
Assimilation Mode - An optional multiplayer gamemode where if you die to a partygoer NPC - you join them to hunt befriend other players! (will be added later, after testing in multiplayer begins)
Tom's Diner - Take some loose ingredients you found around the joint, bring em' back to me, and i'll cook up somethin' nice for ya ('s long as you have something edible..)! Find my place on Level 1!
Level 0.3 . Level 0 if it was frozen over. The temperature is the biggest problem here.
Unnamed Ice counterpart to Firesalt (ice sugar? frost pepper? idk) - Found on level 0.3, used in ice related weaponry.
Almond wheat - Plantable crop that makes Almond Water.
