What is Kingly Armory?
Kingly Armory is a mod that aims to make tool progression as deep as it is wide, or make it more complex. The idea is to take tools and smush them together, kind of like those multi-tools that were in like every tool mod in 2018, except, less complex. You take an upgrade template, take your tools, slap them in a smithing table, and voila, you now have your very own multi-tool!
But why?
I think that Minecraft tool progression could use a bit of spice, the way it works now is fine, but it could be a lot better! By adding customization, it turns progression from a small oak tree to a big oak tree (please excuse the corny example). Also, I've just had a ton of ideas sitting in a note file for months now, and I've had nothing to do with them, so I'm making this.
What does it add?
My goal, at least for now, is 10 new tool/weapon classes and 3 new resources. As of 0.1.2, the mod has:
- The Daggers, faster, yet weaker swords.
- The Triple Swords, much slower, yet much stronger swords.
- Paxels, multi-tools combining Pickaxes, Axes, and Shovels.
- Copper tools, slower/weaker, yet much more durable than Iron tools.
