Texture atlas crashes happen when the texture atlas gets overloaded by mod/resourcepack textures, usually happening on low-end devices with lower size texture atlas.
This mod simply forces the texture atlas size to be 16k x 16k, allowing lower-end devices to run more mods without the worry of the texture atlas crash.
