It's been a while, but 2.0 is finally here!

Removals

Removed Muskeg, Rocky Tundra and Lush Hills biomes

Removed Simply Tea and Environmental compat

Removed cattails

Removed roots

Removed several flowers

 

Additions

Added two new tree types:

  • Larch: found in cold and mountainous biomes
  • Ginkgo: only found in the new Ginkgo Grove biome

 

Added new biomes:

  • Boreal Forest: coniferous forest with tall larch trees. Has snowy and clearing variants
  • Ginkgo Grove: subtropical mountainous grove, the only place where you can find Ginkgo trees

 

Added Asters and Magenta Saxifrages to mountains

Added Heather to cold biomes

Added three new butterfly species for mountain biomes

Added a mixin config where you can disable any mixin (it WILL break certain features but can help with mod conflicts)

Added a server config

 

Added biome tags:

  • #terraincognita:spawns_butterflies (currently unused)
  • #terraincognita:spawns_forest_butterflies
  • #terraincognita:spawns_mountains_butterflies
  • #terraincognita:spawns_plains_butterflies

 

Changes

Compat blocks are now always registered, which means no more log spam!

Beehives no longer require Buzzy Bees

Chests, bookshelves ladders and leaf carpets no longer require Quark

 

Hanging moss changes:

  • Now only generates in Lush Caves
  • Recolored to better match vanilla moss

 

Overhauled tundra biome

Caribou moss clusters are now mixed with vanilla moss in snowless biomes

Retextured swamp reeds

Saxifrage now generates in mixed clusters of yellow and magenta flowers

Added chicory and yarrow to Meadow biomes

 

Fixes

Fixed crash with Botania (ZekerZhayard)

Fixed a JEI issue with modded dyes that do not extend DyeItem
