What's new
1.4.1 — Server Balance and Mastery Guidance
- Fixed Soul Recognition’s additional maximum-EP reward, which was not working properly before.
- Server owners can now configure its ceiling with
recognition_rewards.maximumExtraEp. The default is:Setting it to1,000,000
0disables only the addon bonus. - The reward scales with the player’s frozen Identity Strength, is split evenly between maximum magicules and aura, and does not change Tensura’s native HIGH endowment or cap.
- The configured ceiling is saved when recognition commits, so later config changes only affect future recognitions.
How Mastery actually works
Mastery contributes to Identity Strength. It is not a separate recognition path, and mastered skills alone cannot fill the entire Mastery meter.
With the default balance, the maximum is 96 points:
Mastered non-intrinsic skills — 40 points maximum
- Skills 1–5:
+2each - Skills 6–8:
+3each - Skills 9–12:
+2each - Skills 13–20:
+1each - Skills 21–40:
+0.25each - Additional skills grant no further skill-count points.
Mastered skill-category variety — 16 points maximum
+4each for Unique, Extra, Basic/Common, and Resistance.- “Other” skills do not count toward category variety.
Highest EP reached — 20 points maximum
+2.5per100,000 EP, capped at800,000 EP
Distinct major-enemy types defeated — 20 points maximum
+2per distinct type, capped at 10 types.
Checking Mastery in game
Run:
/moostensura guide mastery
This displays a live breakdown of your current Mastery, including mastered skills, represented skill categories, highest EP, major-enemy types defeated, each contribution’s points, and the active server maximum.
The command is also linked from /moostensura guide and listed under /moostensura help. The Soul Recognition Overview now uses the server’s real Mastery maximum and displays all eleven guidance cards correctly.
