Tars Okey 1.0.1 (Fabric 1.21.1)
Curse Maven Snippet
What's new
First Fabric build - the same game as 1.0.1 on Forge 1.20.1 and NeoForge 1.21.1. Requires Fabric API 0.116.0 or newer.
1.0.1
Available for
- Forge 1.20.1, NeoForge 1.21.1 (21.1.1 or newer) and Fabric 1.21.1 (Fabric API 0.116.0 or newer) — the same game on all three, and players on the same Minecraft version and loader can play together
Playing on the table
- Turn clock at the top of the screen: whoever is on turn sees the time left in large digits with a shrinking bar — green, then brass, red in the last ten seconds, pulsing and softly ticking in the last five; everyone else at the table sees a slim line with who is on turn and how long they have left
- Finish a round on the table: hold your last tile and release it over the middle of the table — it is placed face down on the talon
- The game is now played on the table only; the window is for starting, getting ready, uncles, settings and stakes
- The winner's rack is shown for five seconds exactly as the winner laid it out, gaps between the groups included
- Two or three players: discard at your usual spot at the front left, the tile lands at the next player by itself
Stakes
- The stake window shows all trays at the table live: others read-only with their names, yours to fill; the lobby shows everyone's stake as well
- During a round the window still opens to see what is at stake
- Every round is its own game: the winner gets all stake trays straight into their inventory the moment the round ends — no pick-up button; what does not fit drops at their feet
- A draw or an uncle's win returns every stake to its owner, even to players who gave up during the round
- After the result the table returns to the lobby by itself (15 seconds), or right away with "Back to lobby"
- Points across several rounds are gone
- Stakes only count between players: alone with uncles your tray stays open and untouched
Fixes
- Seats now have a proper name instead of a translation key
- A winning uncle lays his rack out in groups instead of the dealt order
- Leaving a table with only uncles no longer locks your stake tray forever
- The on-table hint described the controls wrongly
- Back in the lobby, "Start" works right away again with uncles at the table
