This mod is a massive content expansion add-on for the renowned firearms mod, [TACZ] Timeless and Classics Zero. Inspired by the classic "Metro Royale" mode in tactical shooters, this mod introduces a deep numerical progression system, a strict equipment grading hierarchy, and brand-new tactical items to the TACZ ecosystem.
Here, firearms are no longer just generic iron blocks, and armor is far more than a simple reskin of leather or diamond. From makeshift refugee gear to top-tier "Excellent" military hardware, you must constantly scavenge for superior weapons and protection in the wasteland. Face deadlier AI enemies and experience a gunfight survival journey filled with immense pressure and rewarding progression.
Weapon Grading System
Building upon the original TACZ firearms, this mod introduces a strict four-tier weapon quality system. Each firearm is categorized by its craftsmanship, with higher-tier weapons boasting significant stat advantages:
- Improved: Weapons that have undergone basic tuning, offering a slight boost to damage and penetration.
- Exquisite: Well-crafted standard-issue weapons with further enhanced combat effectiveness.
- Perfect: Near-flawless masterpieces with extremely high penetration coefficients, capable of tearing through ordinary armor with ease.
- Excellent: The ultimate products of top-tier military factories, providing extreme damage output and terrifying armor-piercing capabilities.
Note: The higher the tier, the greater the bonus to base damage and penetration coefficient. High-tier firearms are your core reliance for countering heavily armored enemies in the late game.
️ Defense System: 7-Level Tactical Armor
To adapt to high-intensity combat environments, the mod adds seven tiers of tactical armor (inspired by the Metro Royale mode). These armors feature independent damage reduction mechanics and go beyond relying solely on vanilla armor points:
- Tier System: Ranging from crude Tier 1 armor to Tier 7 "god-tier" gear that provides absolute defense.
- Core Attributes:
- Bullet Damage Reduction: Directly reduces incoming firearm damage by a percentage.
- Penetration Resistance: Lowers the penetration coefficient of enemy bullets. High-tier armor can effectively resist fire from lower-tier guns.
Hostile Forces: 6-Tier NPC Ecosystem
The wasteland is fraught with danger. This mod introduces six tiers of armed NPCs, forming a dynamic hierarchy of threats. These NPCs wear armor and wield guns corresponding to their rank, and possess distinct combat AI:
- Refugee: Poorly equipped and slow-moving, usually appearing as cannon fodder.
- Militia: Possess basic combat awareness and use the most ordinary weapons for harassment.
- Mercenary: Seasoned fighters equipped with Tier 3 or Tier 4 armor sets, wielding Improved-tier weapons.
- Assault Soldier: Well-trained regulars with faster movement speeds and fierce firepower. They are equipped with Tier 4 or Tier 5 armor sets and wield Exquisite-tier weapons.
- Special Forces: Elite units posing a severe threat. They wear Tier 5 or Tier 6 armor sets and use Exquisite-tier weapons.
- Super Special Forces: The dominators of the battlefield. Clad in Tier 6 or Tier 7 armor sets and wielding Excellent-tier weapons, they possess extremely fast reaction speeds and movement, representing the ultimate challenge for players.
AI Features: NPCs of different tiers have independent movement speed configurations and state machine animations. Lower-tier enemies may move sluggishly, while higher-tier enemies will perform tactical maneuvering and rapid assaults.
Tactical Items
Beyond guns and armor, tactical throwables are key to victory. This mod adds various functional items to enrich the tactical dimension of the battlefield:
- Frag Grenade: Deals large-scale explosive damage, perfect for clearing groups of enemies.
- Molotov Cocktail: Creates a fire zone upon impact, dealing continuous burning damage to enemies within the area.
- Landmine: A concealed defensive facility that explodes when stepped on, ideal for guarding strongholds.
- Freeze Mine: A special tactical mine that not only deals damage upon explosion but also hinders enemy movement (or inflicts a freezing effect).
