  • All ethereal items should now behave correctly when modified in the smithing table. (Previously, some ethereal tools wouldn't accept certain modifications.)
  • Smithing Table and Grindstone interfaces are now hardcoded. (Should get rid of any remaining visual glitches.)
  • Fixed bug where blocking with a shield in the offhand would disable custom smithing interfaces. (I still don't know why, but it should be fixed.)
  • Added custom shields! You can now use basic smithing templates on them. Shields now have various levels of cooldown after blocking an attack; higher level shields can block more consecutive attacks, but may take longer to recover. Only riveted, forged, and ethereal shields will block flaming entities and projectiles.
  • Added new Vengeance enchantment. This uncommon enchantment is exclusively applied to shields. When you block an attack with a vengeance shield, the damage is briefly stored, and added to your own attacks, until the effect wears off.
  • Added new Throwback enchantment, also for shields. A shield with this enchantment will launch entities and projectiles backwards when it blocks their attacks. The launch increases in power for each of three levels.
  • Emissive Textures are now built into the mod, and no longer require an external resource pack. (Optifine is still required.)
