Preparing for migration to 1.11 via 1.10.2. A LOT HAS CHANGED IN THIS RELEASE. If you like SuperBlocks 2.0 you can just wait for the next major release (whenever 1.11 is supported by Forge) and you're creating a new world to play. Otherwise, be prepared for a few block-texture changes and some new mod-dependency requirements.

  • Feature: extracted styled facing into its own set of blocks so no superblocks are required. A few superblocks still retain the old 2.0 styled textures as a way to visually distinguish the levels; but most have been reverted. There is a big BUT however: to use the new styled blocks, you need to either play in creative mode or add the SmartHoppers mod so you can craft  the new "style kits" for the different blocks and patterns in survival mode. A style kit is a new item that gives you a way to craft all the combinations of styled blocks without  having to memorize dozens and dozens of new (and probably very forgettable) crafting recipes. In this initial release there are 6 style kits and each kit gives you up-to 16 unique style cards for use with the SmartHopper mod's block finishing hopper.
  • Enhanced: Now you can use vines in addition to tree saplings to create bark ties for use in packed item recipes.
  • Fix: superblocks ore-ids registered earlier in initialization sequence so they are available for other mods to use in their own recipes.
  • Fix: superblocks registers a recipe to re-craft a vanilla iron ingot from 9 of its nuggets (if no other iron nuggets detected)
  • Enhanced: Added snow, obsidian, gold, lapis lazuli, and red-sand superblocks. Also packable raw meats: 4-packs of items like raw beef, raw mutton, etc. And just for J-Man095 -- new raw meat blocks (block of packed raw meat items) if the  VanillaFoodPantry (VFP) mod is present; the raw meat block's crafting recipe uses a gelatin block from the VFP mod.
  • Feature: Added two splonge blocks -- use them to soak up lava or water the way a guardian's sponge can soak up water. The affected area of a splonge block is larger than a vanilla sponge. Splonges don't need drying but can be exhausted (irreversibly damaged) if used with too large a volume of liquid.
  • Enhanced: Added configuration to limit the number of blocks shown for each superblock on Creative tabs (JEI integration  to come later). The default will show 3 blocks for 8-level superblocks, 3 for 5-level blocks, and 2 for everything else). If you like seeing all the blocks all the time, turn the new option ON on config screen.
  • Fix: hardness and blast resistance of ludicrous blocks have been adjusted to make more sense relative to values for  obsidian and bedrock. All blocks are still breakable (like obsidian) but are considerably more blast resistant but not nearly as much as bedrock (which is the reference for  'indestructible').
  • Fixes: misc bug fixes.
