Description
This mod changes the color blending effect on the sun to make it stay the same color as its texture throughout the day, instead of turning white most of the time. This is useful for those who want to be able to change the color of the sun with a resource pack. It also allows for transparency in the image files instead of counting black as transparent as in vanilla.
These changes are suited towards resource pack / modpack makers in custom worlds and dimensions. Normal users can expect no change otherwise.
To change the assets for the sun and moon, you must add PNG images at assets/minecraft/textures/environment/sun.png and/or assets/minecraft/textures/environment/moon_phases.png in a resource pack.
