Description
STCachedPack is a client-side Minecraft mod that prevents server resource packs from being repeatedly downloaded every time you join or rejoin a server.
💡What does this mod do?
By default, Minecraft forces players to re-download a server’s resource pack on every connection, even if the pack has not changed. This can lead to long loading times, This was brought to my attention when the players of SlimeThrone were reporting long loading times for the server pack to get applied to them.
STCachedPack solves this problem by caching the server’s resource pack locally after the first download and reusing it for future connections, as long as the pack remains unchanged.
