Major Updates:

  • NEW Summoner Path as first Boon Path that does not require any additional addons.
    • This Path has access to all spells that summon entities. This means that it has spells from all Paths but only summoning spells.
  • Added additional descriptors to Boon Initiate chapter to make it clear certain content is only available if certain addons are installed. Boons (except Summoner now) are optional dependencies and not required for the mod to work.
  • Added additional requirements in the Initiate chapter. Now, a Player must also acquire the spell school focus of a Path before they can select it.
    • This is not the Sacrifice mechanic of Boon Paths. A Player only needs to have the item in their inventory to complete the tasks.
  • Updated Mage Core recipes for latest T.O Magic ‘n Extras update. Specifically:
    • Rank 1 Mage Core - Thunder Tyrant: Lightning Rod -> Charged Sands
    • Rank 1 Mage Core - Flood Emperor: Ceranus -> Staff of the Storm Empress
  • Updated Blacklisted Spells for adaptive system in FTB Quests to include the new Apex Harvest (T.O Magic ‘n Extras, latest update)
  • Updated automatic FTB Quests installer to now detect between different versions of Spellranks and changes in any relevant configs.
    • This means Players no longer have to touch the FTB Quests Config Folder under any circumstances to play the game from this version onwards (unless they want to).
  • Updated Death Penalty config option to now include up to what Ranks can be affected by the Death Penalty (Ranks 4,3,2 for what Rank to not be included)
  • Added client config options to the following feature:
    • Recipe toggles (on/off):
      • Cinder Essence Smelting
      • Common Ink (still disables when Create:Wizardry is installed)
      • Cradle of Will
      • Crying Obsidian
      • Arcane Anvil (when toggled off, original recipe from Iron’s Spells ‘n Spellbooks is used)
    • Disable automatic FTB Quest installation feature (on/off)
      • WARNING: This should only be used by modpack creators who want their own FTB Quest files. Otherwise, I highly recommend leaving this config alone.
    • NEW Spell Scroll Reward upon Ranking Up (on/off)
    • Curio Ring Slots now can be changed from 2-10 slots
  • Added server config options to the following features:
    • Elytra Equip Restriction (on/off)
    • Duplicate Curio Rings Restriction (on/off)
    • NEW Spell Scrolls dropped if not belonging to your Path (on/off)
    • NEW Restrict Casting of Rank 0 of True Path(s) when other True Path(s) are not at Rank 0 (on/off)
      • This essentially means that when using new True Paths, you can no longer cast from the Path you have Rank 0 in.
      • Eldritch and Boon Paths are unaffected by this feature.
      • This feature is mainly for those who want their playthrough of Secondary Paths to not rely on their Primary Path (which is at Rank 0 to gain access to Secondary Paths).

Patch Fix:

  • Fixed issue with Mage Status resetting whenever the Player left the End.
