What's new

Calendar Synchronization Update

Added

  • Calendar data is now owned and saved by each world.

  • All players now see the same date and time in:

    • Singleplayer
    • LAN worlds
    • Dedicated servers
  • Added the new server/operator command:

/speakepiecalendar startdate <day> <month> <year> <weekday 0-6>

Weekday values:

0 = Sunday
1 = Monday
2 = Tuesday
3 = Wednesday
4 = Thursday
5 = Friday
6 = Saturday

Updated

  • The configured starting date now represents world day zero.
  • Elapsed Minecraft days are automatically added to the starting date.
  • /time add correctly advances the calendar.
  • Leap years, month lengths, years, and weekdays are calculated automatically.
  • Calendar changes are synchronized immediately and periodically with every connected player.
  • Calendar data persists after restarting the world or server.
  • Forge updated to version 47.4.10.

Fixed

  • Fixed LAN players having calendars several months or days out of sync with the host.
  • Fixed each client using its own calendar starting date.
  • Fixed calendar dates drifting after reconnecting.
  • Fixed stale dates appearing after switching worlds or servers.
  • Fixed the HUD displaying an incorrect date before server synchronization completed.
  • Fixed malformed calendar data potentially crashing the HUD.
  • Fixed extreme world-time values potentially causing date calculation errors.
