Description

SpawnCursion

This mod is still in development. Bugs or changes may occur—back up your saves before installing.

This mod completely rewrites and enhances the vanilla spawner mechanics in Minecraft, aiming to provide a highly controllable, freely customizable, and powerful monster-spawning system. Through lightweight scripting such as JSON configuration files and the support of global datapacks, the mod's functionality can be flexibly expanded and deeply customized. This allows for the introduction of custom challenges and trials in the overworld, serves as a new form of boss battles in generated structures, or enables the easy creation and management of complex combat scenarios and "campaigns."

Core Features

  • Spawner Template Configuration: All spawner generation information is fully and intuitively configurable via JSON configuration files.
  • Multi-Entity Type Support: A single spawner can now define and summon multiple different types of entities, greatly increasing spawning diversity.
  • Precise Quantity Control: Players can accurately control the total number of each entity type to be spawned or killed within a single spawner's entire lifecycle.
  • Spawning Parameter Control: Players can flexibly adjust the spawn interval and effective spawn range for each entity type within the spawner.
  • Entity Buffs: Entities spawned by this spawner can receive attribute modifacation and mob effects, enhancing combat difficulty.
  • Entity Behavior Modification: The mod allows for modifying the AI goals of spawned entities, enabling more complex behavior patterns.
  • Reward Chest Mechanism: Upon completion of a spawner's challenge, a reward chest will generate at its center, offering loot.
  • Sub-Spawner Activation: When the main spawner is activated, it can dynamically generate new sub-spawners.
  • Global Datapack Support: Mod datapacks can be placed in the ./spcurs folder within the game's root directory, allowing for broader customization and expansion.
