Ore Biomes is a Minecraft mod that transforms world generation by introducing unique biomes, each dedicated to a specific vanilla ore. These biomes are not just cosmetic; they serve as concentrated geological formations where their respective materials form the landscape itself.

Instead of traditional branch mining, players are encouraged to explore these specialized environments to gather resources in bulk.

🌍 Overworld Biomes

⬛ Coal Biome

• Appearance: A dark, sooty, and rugged terrain. The ground is largely composed of solid Blocks of Coal rather than dirt or stone.
• Features: Patches of dark ash and charred wood formations replace standard trees, creating an industrial-like natural landscape.
• Rarity: Common

🟧 Iron Biome

• Appearance: This landscape has a rusted, metallic, orange-brown hue. Features large, angular rock formations with significant deposits of Raw Iron Blocks.
• Features: Vegetation is sparse and appears metallic. Natural "iron geodes" can be found directly on the surface.
• Rarity: Uncommon

🟨 Gold Biome

• Appearance: A spectacular shimmering, yellow-gold palette. The ground is a mix of rich gold-sand and exposed Raw Gold Blocks.
• Features: Cacti and desert flora have a distinct golden tint. Includes rare deposits of polished Gold Blocks forged by nature.
• Rarity: Rare

🟦 Diamond Biome

• Appearance: A rare, vibrant, and glittering landscape featuring deep blue and icy tones. It contains formations of solid Diamond Blocks.
• Features: Unique blue flora and "crystal trees" that drop shards. The light refraction gives the biome a permanent, magical shimmer.
• Rarity: Epic

🌋 Nether-Exclusive Biomes

⬜ Quartz Biome

• Appearance: A blinding white contrast to the red Netherrack. A vast, crystal desert dominated by massive structures of Quartz Blocks.
• Features: Spiky quartz "forests" and unstable, slippery ground. This is the ultimate source for Quartz collectors.
• Rarity: Nether Only

Tip: Finding a Diamond Biome is extremely difficult. Make sure you bring enough food and protection, as the shimmering light often attracts dangerous mobs!
