Greetings, and welcome to the first-ever Sonic The Hedgehog Palladium Addon!
This is the spiritual successor to the Sonic The Hedgehog Lucraftcore Addon by RealGamer710. With the original author's permission, I used the assets from their mod and the Palladium framework by lucraft to make a new Sonic mod rebuilt from the ground up with new features, rebalanced characters, and more!
Currently, I would say this mod is in a (very) late beta stage. All of the core mechanics have been implemented and are fully functional, but certain features and characters (and maybe a few character reworks) still need to be added into the mod. Plus, there are some characters/mechanics from the original mod that I would still like to introduce to some degree. Rest assured, though, content updates will be coming in (hopefully) semi-frequently to address these issues. And as always, feel free to reach out if any bugs arise that need fixing!

Quickstart Guide:
This guide will teach you how to gain Sonic's abilities. Other characters will be marked as spoilers for those who wish to figure it out for themselves
- Begin by crafting rings from the Sonic universe. The crafting recipe for this is below
- Afterwards you'll need to craft Sonic's quills. Start by making ordinary hedgehog quills, then make them blue with blue dye
- Now, with your rings, blue quills, and 4 iron ingots, make a Sonic item box as instructed below
For other characters, you would replace the blue quills with a signature item belonging to their species of animal
- Tails - Fox Fur
- Knuckles - Red Quills
- Amy - Pink Quills
- Shadow - Dark Quills
- Rouge - Bat Wings (new drop added to bats!)
- Silver - Silver Quills
- Blaze - Strings (from Cats!)
Super Forms:
Just like in the Classic games, super forms are a special bonus given to the player for going above and beyond in collecting all seven Chaos Emeralds. While using super forms, you gain strong physical buffs, the power of flight, and upgraded abilities unique to each character! However, you can only use your super form for a limited time, and once it's lost you will be debuffed for several minutes.
Do know that Sonic, Tails, Knuckles (who uses the Master Emerald to transform), Shadow, and Silver are the only characters with super forms at this point in development. The Sol Emeralds have been added to the game, but there's no way to get them outside of cheating, and you can't do anything with them anyhow.
Chaos Emeralds:
To earn Chaos Emeralds, you'll want to seek out Emerald Vaults, which can be found all over your Minecraft world! An image of these Emerald Vaults can be found in the gallery!
At the center of each vault will be a chest with a drained Chaos Emerald. If you're playing as a character with an unlockable super form, you can use your chaos energy to recharge the emerald! Just be warned that doing so will temporarily disable your chaos energy-related abilities, which can vary in how weak it makes you depending on which character you're using (characters like Sonic and Tails will barely feel a difference, while Silver players are pretty much shit outta luck for a few minutes...)
Master Emerald:
To get the Master Emerald, you have to find six different Emerald Shrines throughout your Minecraft world. An image of these Emerald Shrines can be found in the gallery!
The center of each shrine will contain a chest with a shard of the Master Emerald. If you're playing as Knuckles, you can combine six shards to make the Master Emerald!
