Sol's Title System

A rich title progression system. Players earn titles by completing in-game achievements — slaying mobs, surviving, or defeating powerful bosses. Each title displays above the player's head and in chat, and can grant unique stat buffs while equipped.

✨ Major Features

  • Added new title unlock systems:
    • Advancement-based unlocks
    • Item milestone unlocks (acquired & crafted)
    • Combat performance unlocks (damage dealt, damage taken, highest hit)

⚙️ Progression System Upgrade

  • Titles can now track:
    • Advancement completion
    • Items collected & crafted
    • Total damage dealt & taken
    • Highest single hit
  • UI now properly reflects all new progression types
  • Condition checks are more flexible and support multiple data sources

🖥️ Server-Side Tracking Added

  • Item pickups → tracked for item_acquired
  • Crafting → tracked for item_crafted
  • Combat:
    • Damage dealt & taken tracked automatically
    • Highest hit updates when a new peak is reached
  • Advancement progress is now included in title checks

🔧 Config Changes (Important)

  • chroma → replaced with rarity
    • Old configs still work (auto-converted)
    • New configs use rarity only
  • display_order removed
    • No longer used anywhere
    • Automatically cleaned from existing configs
  • Color conflict fix
    • If rarity is used → color is removed automatically
    • color still works for non-rarity titles

🔄 Automatic Config Migration

  • Existing configs are updated automatically
  • No backup files are created
  • Cleanup runs even on already up-to-date configs

📊 Sorting Changes

  • Titles now sort by:
    1. Rarity tier
    2. ID (as tie-breaker)
  • Non-rarity titles are treated as common tier

🆔 UI Improvements

  • Title list now shows stable ID values instead of page positions
  • Makes tracking and referencing titles more consistent

🌐 Network Sync Updates

  • Server → Client sync now uses rarity
  • Backward compatibility with chroma is preserved

📘 Updated Documentation

  • Instructions rewritten for the new system
  • Examples now use rarity-based format
  • Deprecated fields (chroma, display_order) are no longer shown
