Sol's Title System

A rich title progression system. Players earn titles by completing in-game achievements — slaying mobs, surviving, or defeating powerful bosses. Each title displays above the player's head and in chat, and can grant unique stat buffs while equipped.

  • Lightning Aura Effects — Rarity-based lightning auras for high-tier titles (Mythical, Supreme, Apex, Ultimate)
    • Mythical: White/silver swirling bolts
    • Supreme: Crimson lightning + glowing ground ring
    • Apex: Purple chaotic bolts + orbiting energy orbs + double ring
    • Ultimate: Golden domain with orbiting arcs, triple ring, and pulsing aura field
  • Aura Toggle — New "Show/Hide Aura" button in the Title GUI lets players enable or disable their aura effect
    • Aura visibility state is synced to all players and persists across sessions
    • Disabling hides the aura for both the player and all other players
  • Ambient Thunder SFX — Equipped auras now emit a subtle, low-volume thunder rumble that nearby players can hear
  • Equip/Toggle Sound — A short thunder crack plays when equipping an aura title or toggling the aura on

⚖️ Nerfs & Balance

 

  • Mythical Titles — Reduced requirements significantly:
    • The Undying: 300 min survival + 1,500 hostile kills (was higher)
    • Apex Predator: 3 Withers + 2 Dragons + 20 Elder Guardians
    • World Ender: 3,000 kills + 3 Withers + 3 Dragons
    • Death Incarnate: 4,000 kills + 200 min survival
  • Supreme Titles — Reduced requirements:
    • Godslayer: 5 Withers + 5 Dragons + 2,500 kills + 350 min survival
    • Realm Breaker: 6,000 kills + 8 Withers + 8 Dragons + 450 min survival
    • The Unyielding: 8,000 kills + 600 min survival
    • Oblivion: 10,000 kills + 12 Withers + 12 Dragons + 800 min survival
  • Apex Titles — Reduced requirements:
    • Calamity: 12,000 kills + 15 Withers + 15 Dragons + 1,000 min survival
    • The Forsaken: 15,000 kills + 20 Withers + 20 Dragons + 1,500 min survival
    • Void Walker: 20,000 kills + 25 Withers + 25 Dragons + 2,000 min survival
  • Ultimate Titles — Reduced requirements:
    • Ascendant: 30,000 kills + 40 Withers + 40 Dragons + 3,000 min survival
    • The Absolute: 40,000 kills + 50 Withers + 50 Dragons + 5,000 min survival
  • Buff values adjusted proportionally to match nerfed requirements
  • All changes apply automatically to existing configs via migration (v7 → v8)
