What's new

Initial release for Minecraft 1.20.1 (Forge).

Smooth scrolling

  • Hotbar — animated slot selector with optional rollover between the first and last slot
  • Chat — smooth scrolling of chat history, plus an animated open/close transition
  • Creative inventory — smooth item grid scrolling with pixel-precise offsets
  • Entry lists — smooth scrolling in every list-based screen (options, world/server select, resource packs, etc.)
  • Command suggestions — smooth scrolling in the autocomplete popup

Configuration

  • Config file at config/smoothscroll.json, reloadable in game with F3 + T
  • Smoothness values range from 0 (instant, no animation) to 1 (slowest, smoothest)
  • Entry lists also have a separate Speed value (default 30) controlling scroll distance
  • Rollover toggle for hotbar selection between the first and last slot
  • Config format is shared with the Fabric version of the mod
