Smithing-Progression-1.21.85+26-universal.jar
Curse Maven Snippet
What's new
THIS HAS ONLY BEEN TESTED ON 26.2. IF THERE ARE ANY BUGS ON THE OTHER VERSIONS LET ME KNOW.
1.21.78 — Broken equipment system
-
Equipment now remains in the inventory at its final durability point instead of disappearing, preserving names, enchantments and other item properties.
-
Fully broken equipment stays unusable until repaired to 100% durability. Partial repairs do not unlock it.
-
Added red “Broken — repair required” and “Repair to 100% durability to use again” tooltip text.
-
Broken weapons and tools cannot perform their normal actions. Broken armor loses protection and equipped enchantment benefits; broken shields lose their passives, and broken elytra cannot glide.
-
Broken equipment remains repairable through eligible grindstone, offhand whetstone, anvil and Mending repairs.
-
Crafting, grindstone combining and anvil repairs preserve the broken lock unless the result is fully repaired.
1.21.79 — Enchantments, dismantling and mob behavior
-
Added vanilla and common mod enchantment categories for Smithing Progression equipment. Hammers support pickaxe and melee enchantments.
-
Added spear eligibility for More Spear Enchantments. Checked eligibility with Universal Enchants, More Spear Enchantments and Martini’s Better Enchantment Compatibility together on 26.2.
-
Better whetstones increase dismantling refunds: obsidian ×1.5 and echo ×2, adjusted for condition and capped at 90% of nominal material value, rounded down.
-
Obsidian and echo whetstones return metal ingots plus leftover nuggets. JEI shows both outputs.
-
Tamed boars gain owner following and safe catch-up teleporting. Owner shift-right-click cycles Follow → Stay → Roam.
-
Improved phantom target retention and recovery when stranded against the ground.
-
Gear now plays Minecraft’s item-break sound once when entering the Broken state. Fully repairing it allows the sound to trigger on its next break.
1.21.80 — Grind wheel dressers and repair changes
-
Added Flint Grind Wheel Dresser and Diamond Grind Wheel Dresser.
-
Untreated grindstones now repair 1% of maximum durability per successful second.
-
Crouch and hold right-click with a dresser to increase the wheel’s repair rate, up to 15% with flint or 25% with diamond.
-
Dressing wears down by one percentage point after every five successful seconds of tool repair, stopping at 1%. Idle time causes no decay.
-
Each grindstone saves its own dressing rate and decay progress.
-
Moved bows, crossbows, fishing rods and shields to anvil hammer repair alongside armor.
-
Anvil repairs remain 5% per completed strike, costing 10 hammer durability. Vanilla anvils and Easy Anvils are supported.
-
Flint and steel, brushes and both dressers now break normally at zero durability.
1.21.81 — Dresser balance and repair HUD
-
Dressing now costs 6 durability per added percentage point.
-
Flint dresser durability is 84, enough to raise one fresh wheel from 1% to 15%, then break.
-
Diamond dresser durability is 288, enough to fully dress two fresh wheels from 1% to 25%.
-
Added a second repair HUD line, such as “Wheel: 15% repair/sec (+14% buff)”.
1.21.83 — Diamond whetstone and phantom ceiling recovery
-
Lowered the flint dresser’s supporting left hand to clear the head. Diamond hand positions remain unchanged.
-
Added phantom ceiling recovery using a clear route down and sideways before resuming normal flight and attacks.
-
Added Diamond Whetstone, crafted from three diamond shards above three iron ingots.
-
Diamond Whetstone has 3,000 durability, repairs 200 equipment durability per offhand use and spends 100 whetstone durability.
-
Diamond dismantling uses a ×1.75 multiplier, retaining the 90% refund cap.
-
Changed the diamond dresser recipe to iron ingot / Diamond Whetstone / iron ingot across the top, with iron ingots in the center and bottom-center slots.
1.21.84 — Whetstone models and recipe changes
-
Reduced held whetstone sizes and gave all four tiers the same compact two-part 3D model.
-
Changed the Echo Whetstone recipe to a Diamond Whetstone surrounded by eight Echo Splinters.
-
Removed the previous Echo Fragment plus regular Whetstone recipe.
-
Fire Starters now break normally at zero durability. Their final ignition attempt remains usable.
