Hey there! Welcome to another update of Overworld Netherite! This update is one of the largest in the history of this mod.

Fortune Rework

Fortune in this mod has never been quite what I wanted it to be. Originally, I used the default MCreator fortune procedure, which isn't bad, but I felt it could be improved. So, I created my own!

Now, fortune works very differently. Instead of drops being completely random, there's a system in place. Each fortune level increases your chance of obtaining a Large Shard. If you get a Large Shard, you receive nothing else. However, if you don't get a Large Shard, you'll get more normal shards. Here are the chances:

Fortune 1

30% Large Ancient Debris Shard

OR

50% Bonus Ancient Debris Shard

Fortune 2

50% Large Ancient Debris Shard

OR

70% Bonus Ancient Debris Shard

30 % Bonus Ancient Debris Shard

Fortune 3

70% Large Ancient Debris Shard

OR

90% Bonus Ancient Debris Shard

60% Bonus Ancient Debris Shard

30% Bonus Ancient Debris Shard

New Advancements!

Master of the Ancient Shards - Obtained by having 64 Large Ancient Debris shards in your inventory.

They Still Exist! - Obtained by mining a rare Ancient Debris found in the Overworld.

Bug Fixes

Finally managed to make the ore drop something only when a certain harvest level is on a pickaxe. I've attempted to fiix this in the past two updates, encountering persistent issues. Now, hopefully, it's fixed! :D
