Skyrealm Core is the central mod for the modpack Skyrealm: Descent. It is not intended to be used as a stand alone mod.

The mod provides a foundation for interaction between the many mods included in Skyrealm: The Descent, adding framework for new custom items, block interactions, and changes in dimension properties.

The mod allows for interactions between mods like the Aether, Farmers Delight, and the datapacks included in 'Skyrealm: Descent', including:

- Connecting dimensional travel vertically between the Skyrealm and the Overworld
- New food and breeding mechanics for the Aether mod's Moas
- New rifts that form at the bottom of the Overworld that allow the player to travel to the Nether
- Various tweaks on item interactions from the Environmental mod
- Introduces a new item, the Totem of Unfalling, that saves the player from falling to the Overworld from the Skyrealm in Skyrealm: Descent
