Permission Groups

Permission overhaul to allow for groups, and permission groups where users are not required to be part of your island.
The following three groups have been implemented for users part of your island:

  • Admin Group -> Has the ability to change island settings
  • Members Group -> Regular members permissions
  • Default Group -> Default group for anyone not part of your island

 

Currently, three pre-created groups allow you to add players that are not part of your island.
Because of these groups, you will now be able to grant specific privileges to players who are not part of your island.
Future planning to allow you to alter these group names, icons, and descriptions & add more if necessary.
Current pre-created groups you will find for your island:

  • Friends
  • Coop
  • Miscellaneous


Member Management
Members can now be demoted/promoted from and to admin/member within the member overview.
Only admin members are able to do this, be warned! Admins can adjust all settings, kick members and demote other admins on your island. The owner of the island is the only non-demote- / kickable player.

Adjustments:

  • Deployer from create has the following adjustments to override permissions for Place blocks, Break blocks, Use bonemeal, Use a bucket
  • Redstone items are now in a separate permission instead of combined with global block interaction
  • Layout of settings & island overview has been altered (For admin members & owner).

 

Bug Fixes:

  • Players without an island could do everything on the island, regarding set permissions for everyone group.
  • Disabled being able to left-click on drawers to extract items, without Interact Blocks permission
  • The island is still being shown in travel GUI when no one is the owner/member of the island anymore.
  • Legacy data conversion not setting the island centre correctly. (Added conversion for any currently wrong converted data)
  • Players joining with a non-existing island will now be able to create an island again.
