SimplyOrigins

Become the mob. Discover a different way to survive.

SimplyOrigins adds 12 Minecraft mob-inspired origins, each with its own powers, strengths, and drawbacks. Fly as a Ghast, cultivate crops as a Sniffer, weave traps as a Spider, or join the undead as a Zombie.

Originally, created as my personal Origins datapack, SimplyOrigins has returned with an updated Fabric 1.21.1 release, new origins, and expanded abilities.

Choose Your Origin

For multiplayer, install the addon and its dependencies on both the server and each player’s client. 

Older downloads may target different Minecraft versions or loaders. Check the file’s requirements before installing.

Planned Features

• More mob-inspired origins with distinctive abilities and drawbacks.

• Further balance adjustments, refinements, and fixes based on player feedback.

Zombie and Wolf grayscale vision are now included in version 1.4!
