1.2.3 Changelog
New
Excavator
Added the Excavator, a new type of drill that extracts resources directly from the terrain without consuming world blocks. It can generate an unlimited supply of resources as long as there are at least 256 connected blocks (configurable) beneath it.
By default, it can extract Dirt, Grass Block, Moss Block, Sand, Red Sand, Gravel, Sandstone, Red Sandstone, Mud, Clay, Coarse Dirt, Podzol, Mycelium, Rooted Dirt, Stone, Cobblestone, Diorite, Granite, Andesite, Calcite, Tuff, Dripstone Block, Deepslate, Cobbled Deepslate, Snow Block, Ice, Packed Ice, Blue Ice, Obsidian, Netherrack, Magma Block, Basalt, Blackstone, Soul Sand, Soul Soil, End Stone, all Terracotta variants, and, if Create is installed, Crimsite, Asurine, Ochrum, and Veridium.
Every supported block has its own extraction time. Supported blocks can be added or removed through the config.
Changes
- Added Single Recipe Mode to the Autocrafter. In this mode, it only requests enough ingredients to craft one recipe at a time. If an item is already waiting in the output slot, it stops requesting additional ingredients, preventing intermediate item overproduction and ingredients from being left inside inactive Autocrafters. Single Recipe Mode is now the default.
- Added Fast Mode to the Autocrafter, which can be toggled using a new button in its UI. In this mode, the Autocrafter continues receiving ingredients while crafting, allowing its inventory to remain stocked and maximizing production throughput. This matches the previous default behavior.
- Improved the Autocrafter UI by rendering the red background behind items instead of on top of them, making it easier to distinguish between actual items and recipe previews.
- Added icons to the configuration UI.
Fixes
- Fixed a critical issue on dedicated servers where every Autocrafter incorrectly displayed "No Recipe" for all items, preventing them from functioning at all.
