Description
Simple Electricity adds a lot of different generators and machines to your Minecraft world! Get started easily and explore the industrialization of Minecraft now!
Note: Alpha and Beta (e.g. pre-release) versions will only be handed out on our Devbooth.com thread. Also internal test versions might be available through Devbooth for interested players and developers.
Note: This mod is a WORK IN PROGRESS modification. Many blocks and items aren't localized yet, miss behave or might not be craftable yet. The use of this mod in your regular installation without backups of both client and world is not recommended. We like to get basic feedback on the existing portfolio of blocks and items (which we'll continuously expand) but please keep in mind that most components are not finalized.
This mod has been designed to be a complete replacement for Industrial-Craft 2 (in it's very own specific way). The initial purpose for the mod was a replacement for my very own (private) server due to the slow development of Industrial-Craft.
Please note that many machines and generators ar similar to the Industrial-Craft ones while others are completely different or new.
Personally I suggest to try out both mods and choose wisely between them. In theory you are also free to install both modifications alongside (Please note that such mod usage is currently not 100% covered by this modification and might lead to various exploits. Please report such exploits in the issues section so we're able to resolve such problems).
Recipes
There is currently no list of recipes available. Please use NEI (Not Enough Items) or a similar mod to discover the recipes on your own. A list of crafting recipes, blocks, ores and their purposes will be added as soon as possible.
Installation
- Drop the pre-built jar into your mods folder
- Start Minecraft
The mod will automatically generate it's configuration and tries to figure ID conflicts out. We recommend to check the configuration file (config/SimpleElecricity.cfg) for more in-depth customization and additional features.
