Description
Simple Chunks is intended to be a server-friendly chunk loader. It consumes Ender Pearls as "fuel" and is designed to be very difficult to automate, requiring players to manually keep it stocked with pearls in order to keep their chunks loaded.
By default, a single pearl will last 4.5 hours, which results in a stack of 16 pearls providing 3 days of chunk loading. This duration is configurable up to 1 day per pearl, for a maximum of 16 days between player interactions. A creative-mode loader is also available that does not require fuel.
NB: The current (alpha) build of Simple Chunks should be considered a proof-of-concept. The chunkloader block is hardcoded to load a 3x3-chunk area around itself, and does not yet have an inventory or GUI. As a result, it will run indefinitely without fuel. Future releases will incorporate more features and limitations until the original vision is realized.
