Now with the common coal you can make ink for some crafts, black whetstone that repairs or removes enchantments from strong armor, charcoal powder that can be set on fire when next to fire and a charcoal sword that gives weakness

Now you can make black dye with charcoal in addition to a wand that shoots fireballs, transmute rotten flesh into leather and is an ingredient to make the wither sword, in addition to being able to craft the new hanging ongo lamps

The carbonized fossil ore was added to nether biomes in soul sand pats that are combustible and can be made into throwable soul charges, it is an ingredient for several vanilla soul things, a new armor that reduces the experience cost when using the igneous wand, adds the reset to make gunpowder and a new artifact, the recovery pearl.

The new metal was added to the blast furnace, which is better than iron, but a little bit more than diamond, and also has some recoil resistance buffs and tools different from the originals. The standard tools and armor along with the ingot and other things are made in a blast furnace.
