This significant update adds 311 new sideways stairs models, built entirely from materials spread throughout three creative tabs: Building Blocks, Colored Blocks and Natural Blocks.

Limitless architectural freedom, take your Minecraft builds to the next level! This update also adds to the mod's 367 Sideways Stairs by introducing blocks that traditionally don't have any stair variants in vanilla Minecraft.

Features

Massive Sideways Expansion (New Update)

The biggest change in this update is a new set of 311 new sideways stairs! Created from full solid blocks, directly from the Building Blocks, Colored Blocks and Natural Blocks creative tabs, these unique variants are here to supercharge your palette. They perfectly complement the existing 56 vanilla sideways stairs to give you ultimate control over your designs.

Complete Stair & Slab Palette

In addition to the sideways growth, the mod comes with 311 regular, vanilla+ stairs from the same 3 creative tabs. You will also get 59 vertical slabs made of only vanilla materials that you can use for creating walls and pillars.

Unique & Stabilized Block Properties

Many of these new stairs have the exact functional characteristics of their source material. Ice Stairs are slippery, Soul Sand Stairs slow you down, and stairs built of blocks such as Farmland or Leaves are permanently stabilized and won't decay, dry, or turn to dirt.

Custom Creative Tabs

All new blocks are neatly organized inside their own dedicated tabs (Sideways Stairs, Vertical Slabs, Vanilla+ Stairs and Sideways Vanilla+ Stairs) in the Creative Inventory for fast and easy access while building.

Vanilla Fire & Tool Behavior

The wood type varieties catch fire, burn away and serve as a balanced fuel source in furnaces naturally. This Stone variant works seamlessly with the Pickaxe's tiering system and maintains the vanilla survival balance.

Crafting Guide

Stairs and slabs made from materials like wood, slime blocks, or dirt can be crafted on the crafting table. Other stairs and slabs made from solid materials like sea lanterns or gold blocks can be crafted only on the stonecutter.

1. Stonecutter

The fastest way to get these custom shapes. Just place any regular stone stair or slab inside to slice it into its custom sideways counterpart.

2. Crafting Table

Best used for making wooden and soft stairs (dirt, froglight, etc.) and slabs.

Development Roadmap & Future Plans

The development is monitored in accordance with a defined program to guarantee the highest quality. My main focus is getting the vanilla material expansion to be as perfect as possible, and then going to different modding platforms:

1) Vanilla+ Stairs — expands the standard horizontal stairs catalog with a vast range of new vanilla-styled materials (Сompleted);

2) Vanilla+ Sideways Stairs — delivers flawless, sideways configurations for all the newly added stair types (Сompleted);

3) Vanilla+ Slabs and Vertical Slabs — introduces the same extensive variety of materials for traditional horizontal slabs and implements vertical slab variations (In Progress);

Important Note on Mod Loaders: Fabric and Forge will be developed when this core roadmap is fully met. If I'm able to make a solid foundation first, then I will be able to guarantee a bug free, highly optimised experience at least for porting the mod to other loaders later.
