Shtreimel - Sable Utility

Shtreimel 0.4.0 — NeoForge

Major compatibility, diagnostics, and safety release for Sable servers on Minecraft 1.21.1.

Requires: NeoForge 21.1.219+, Sable 1.2.1 through 2.x

New commands

• /shtreimel history [uuid] [limit] — exact add/remove journal captured before Sable destroys a plot
• /shtreimel forces start|show|stop <uuid> — bounded opt-in force profiling on one body
• /shtreimel freeze connected <uuid> / unfreeze connected <uuid> — freeze a body and everything linked to it
• /shtreimel archive verify <uuid> <archiveId> — verify archive integrity before restore

Improved diagnostics

• /info now includes rigid-body validity, connected-chain and loading-dependency counts, split parent, frozen state, serialization pointer, and Sable 2 force-load tickets
• Lag ranking weights and caps are fully configurable; optional connected/dependency/ticket signals available in config
• Crash reports include recent lifecycle events, force-profile summaries, topology/ticket/pointer data, and per-dimension physics timing
• Create contraption context in crash reports (when Create is installed): names the contraption being processed inside ContraptionCollider

Reliability and safety

• Exact SubLevelObserver lifecycle capture replaces post-tick pre-removal polling
• Freeze state persists atomically across restarts; split children inherit frozen state from frozen parents
• freeze nearest is now dimension-safe; unfreeze wakes the physics body
• Snapshot schema 2 and archive schema 2 with SHA-256 verification, atomic writes, and richer metadata
• Audit tail reads rotated logs; restore audit records actual destination bounds
• Sable 1.2.1/1.2.2 and 2.x supported through a version-aware capability boundary

Permissions

• New node: shtreimel.profile (op 3) for force profiling sessions

Upgrade notes

• Existing 0.3.x configs, frozen state, archives, snapshots, and audit logs remain readable
• Production jars are now normal readable builds (ProGuard artifacts retired)
