toggleable supernatural abilities tied to commands and keybinds

Description

WARNING! this mod is experimental and made for singleplayer only, some mod features won't function as intended in multiplayer.

do think there's something lacking in your gameplay? or do you maybe just want to be powerful or have versatile abilities?

maybe you want the ability to stop time with the press of a button, save your location and teleport back, maybe you want to summon clones that fight for you and everything they kill will count as your kill, how about creating fake blocks that glow, have an option to enable bullet time that can be turned on and off at a dime, maybe an optional always accessable magic system that levels up and has a variety of usages.

or maybe use all those useless weapons you find in looted chests, and use them for something more important?

well this mod does that. and best of all, you choose what to use and not to use!

lastly it also adds a weird voidlike mystery mob that spawns in the dark, has no name and is pretty powerful compared to your average zombie.

the mod is primarily broken down into 4 parts:

1. keybinds, there are a plethora of abilities tied to keybinds, you will have to configure these yourself as they are tied to no key by default for ease of access, without conflicting with other possible keybinds.

2. commands, there are certain commands that allow you to disable and enable the usage of certain abilities, allowing you to partially customise your experience as you please. YOU CONTROL THE BALANCE!

3. items: there are a plethora of items, from barrier blocks that glow, a special block called hardstone (previously known as hardblock)

4. overlays: you can see certain values on your screen when certain abilities are active such as timestop or barrier stats. (these can usually be turned off by toggling their associated command)

command list :

/barrier (input without the number) (example: /barrier passive)

1. toggle: allows you to toggle the usage of your barrier and any associated abilities. turning this off means you cannot utilise any of the abilities tied to it. uses true/false as an end response to activate properly

2. progression: allows you to see the progress of your barrier stats, including its level and experience without neccesarily having the ability

3. passive: allows you to passively activate the toggle barrier feature upon world join, respawn and the like. does not reset on its own and needs to be manually toggled per world

any other commands you may find are specifically tied to bug testing or are legacy commands from before release and are better left untouched however do no harm when actually activated

/timecontrol

allows you to toggle whether or not you can or cant use timestop, bullet time and the like. (timestop cooldown scales to usage time *2 )

/save

1. game: allows you to save a location and teleport back to it.

2. load: loads the saved location, teleporting you to it.

3. LoadTempSelf (number of clones 1/10): create a number of clones that lasts for 20 seconds with the exact same equipment, stats and whose attacks count as you're attacks. (however, it has a greyed out steve skin instead of your skin)

4. LoadPermaSelf (same as load temp self however only one clone at a time, and only despawns if idle, having no duration timer)

/transfer         (example:  /transfer damage 10)

1. damage (count): transfers durability from the offhand into the item of the mainhand if the requirements are met, aka the transferred durability doesnt exceed the durability of the mainhand item, and the offhand item has enough durability to transfer in the first place.

spoilers / guide / mini wiki:

barrier abilities:

1. barrier bullet: shoots a fast barrier projectile scaling in damage to your barrier level

2. barrier protection: only activates if barrier is toggled on, has a cooldown and gives absorption when triggered if the user is harmed. amount of absorption scales to barrier level

3. conjure barrier block: conjures a standard barrier block that can be crafted into a variety of other types using the crafting grid or crafting table, to either change in appearance, have a new function at the cost of something else, or have different properties such as being more explosion resistant going from dirt/glass -> stone/cobblestone -> stone bricks -> pure barrier block

4. conjure animated barrier: conjures a living barrier entity tamed to the summoner, attacks it deals scales to your attack damage + your barrier level and comes in a stationary version which fires projectiles and a moving variant who attacks with melee, based on if you are or aren't sneaking. when it attacks creatures or hits you or another of its kind, it levels up your barrier exp. all its attacks count as yours, so any mods that dont give exp if you kill using a tame, well these tames give you that exp.

5. launch barrier force: release an invisible force made from barrier power in a certain radius, pushing away mobs and damaging them like a shockwave

hardstone:

hardstone is an extremely explosion resistant block crafted using 8 deepslate in a furnace pattern.

it can then be converted between its smooth and regular form via crafting it in a grid

and if two hardstone's are placed in the crafting grid, then it can be converted back into deepslate.

this gives deepslate a very good usage and makes the duration it takes to mine it more worthwhile
