Shamanic Mounts 0.1.9 - Flute and Post

Call your herd from anywhere, trade mounts with friends, and breed for speed as well as looks.

• Mount Flute. A gold ingot over a stick over leather. Blow it to call up to eight of your tame mounts to your side, from any distance and any dimension. Staying and wandering mounts come too and arrive on follow. Mounts in a rein trial, on a leash, or carrying another rider stay where they are. A mount the flute has never heard of, one you have not been near since this update, needs one visit first.
• Mount Trading Post. Leather, gold, leather over a diamond over three stone bricks. Ride a tame up to the post and use it to offer that mount. Another rider who uses a post on their own mount swaps with you. Sneak as you use it to offer a gift instead, and a player on foot can take it. Getting off, logging out, or sneaking at the post again takes the offer back. The herd book entry moves to the new owner with its pedigree.
• Bred stats. Every mount now has Health, Speed, Jump, and Stamina from 1 to 100, shown in the herd book. Wild mounts roll 28 to 48. A foal takes mostly after the stronger parent, a little after the weaker, wobbles a few points, and one time in eight comes out a step higher, so a line can be bred up. A mount at 38 rides exactly as mounts did before, and mounts from earlier versions read as 38. Health still comes from build and size; the stat scales it.
• Gallop. Hold sprint while riding for a burst of speed. Stamina sets how long it lasts, from 2 to 12 seconds, and the bar refills while you ease off. Run it dry and it has to refill a fifth before you can gallop again.
• The herd book opens up, except the chimera. The spoiler switch is gone: the breeding chapter and the gift genes are always there to read. The chimera is not listed at all, in Lines or in Breeding, until you breed one. A chimera you already keep counts.
• The Herd Book is solid in your hand, and the stag on its cover has eyes. The emblem used to be see-through when held.
