What's new

Early access preview of an updated sync process and GUI https://github.com/rheimus/ServerSync/releases/tag/v4.0.0-alpha.1 GUI work by @Hadyark and @FabianPuche

Changes from 3.x.x

Client

  • New GUI for clients, configuration of ignored files to be included in the full release

Server

  • Files can now be redirected to a different location on the client
  • Files to sync are now included via a more standard include/ignore list
  • Directories can be either mirror or push mode
  • The sync process now uses a manifest and lets the majority of the sync or not logic be executed on the client (should be faster)
  • Configuration is now a JSON file
