The longer you go without your medication, the more severe the symptoms become, and the harder it will be to regain control:
- More frequent and intense terrifying events – you will see more horrifying faces, shadowy figures will appear closer
- Hallucinations become more realistic – soon, you won’t be able to tell what’s real and what’s an illusion.
- Paranoia intensifies – you feel like someone is always watching
- Loud noises become unbearable – whispers turn into deafening screams, sudden loud crashes make your heart race, and distorted music fills the air.
- Medication may stop working – if you neglect your illness for too long, even taking your pills won’t help, and your mind will continue to spiral into madness.
