What's new

  • Quest tracker HUD (Chronicler on the client too): your active quests down the left of the screen, the tracked one first, each objective with its count, done ones ticked, and a deadline when there is one. **Shift+** shows or hides it, and it remembers. Worded server-side like everything else, so messages.yml rewrites it (hud.*). The server's tracker.hudMaxQuests(default 5) caps the list;chronicler-client.toml` says where it sits and how wide it grows.
  • Action-bar buttons with SableCraft Standards 1.8.0+: the quest tracker (toggles the HUD, lit while it is up) and the full journal. A client without Chronicler gets the same buttons as chat, running /quest and /quest journal.
  • API: Quests.playerFlag(player, name) and Quests.setPlayerFlag(player, name, value) -- a player's own flags, the same store a {"type": "flag", "player": true} reward writes, so another mod can finish a quest that waits on one (Threadwork watching Factions for ZARP's camp tutorial). Set this way, a flag belongs to no chapter, and a replay does not take it back.
  • /chronicler flag player <player> [<flag> [true|false]] sets a player's flag, or lists them.
  • A flag objective takes label, the line the journal shows ("Found your faction: /f create <name>"), like deliver and ritual; unsaid, the flag's name as before.
