Release for Minecraft 1.21.1, NeoForge 21.1.253 and Java 21. Install the same version on client and server. No additional required mods.

Legendary effects and balance

• Voidstone slam now covers a 12×4 area and deals 60 damage. Improved holographic greatsword impact, supported violet shockwaves, displaced block visuals and deeper impact audio. Real terrain remains unchanged; displaced grass blocks retain green tops and dirt sides.
• Stormglass seven-strike storm now deals 45 total damage with a 45-second cooldown, with translucent clouds, charging glyphs and branching bolts.
• Aetherite wings are 25% larger, with cyan-white trails and softer flight wind.
• Active Stormglass armor gives players blue-white glowing eyes and silent lightning sparks.
• Sunshard and Moonopal display correctly colored particles during their active times without a body-glow shell.

Equipment information

• Tooltips summarize installed cores, occupied sockets, relevant rune bonuses and activation conditions. Hold Shift for full rules, controls and cooldowns.
• Conditional bonuses reflect day/night, underwater and XP conditions; carried equipment and suppressed legendary armor are identified.

Upgrading and validation

Back up worlds and remove the previous Runic Core JAR before installing runiccore-1.0.2.jar. Existing core data and registry IDs are retained. New ore generation requires new chunks.

Build and all 74 required server tests passed. Custom renderers may require adapters or documented fallbacks; independent multiplayer and every modpack/shader combination have not been certified.
