Description
I have obtained authorization from the original author wulang666 and the source code has been ported to NeoForge.
Overview
Ready for a unique personal adventure?
This mod introduces a robust talent system with over 120 distinct talents, allowing for millions of possible combinations.
Originally built with MCreator, this mod is now designed for NeoForge and requires Java 8 or later.
The author has expanded upon the original version without overhauling its core mechanics, making it a great addition to other adventure-focused modpacks for even more fun!
Gameplay
Level System
Each player is assigned an independent level system, viewable by pressing the Tab key.
Gain combat experience by defeating leveled monsters; level up to earn talent points when your experience bar is full.
Customize your playstyle by allocating talent points as you see fit.
Death Penalty: A portion of your combat experience is deducted based on your current level upon death.
Leveled Monster System
Neutral and hostile creatures have a chance to transform into more challenging leveled monsters, with random enhancements in eight attributes (scaled by monster level and RNG). Defeating them rewards combat experience.
The world difficulty increases over time! Keep strengthening yourself to keep up! Choose a suitable starting difficulty:
- Hard: World level increases by 1 every 16 minutes.
- Normal: World level increases by 1 every 32 minutes.
- Easy: World level increases by 1 every 64 minutes.
The spawn chance of leveled monsters is influenced by player level and moon phase.
Their level is determined by world level, player level, moon phase, and random values.
Level-based rewards and penalties apply: killing lower-level monsters grants reduced EXP (scaling with the gap), while defeating higher-level monsters grants over double EXP (increasing with the gap).
Leveled monsters have a 5% chance to become Elites, gaining 1–3 unique talents.
They also have a 0.5% chance to become Bosses, acquiring 2–4 talents (one fixed). As a special variant, 50% of Bosses with the "Night Pearl" trait also gain the "Scourge" talent.
Defeating Bosses grants 4× the normal combat EXP plus bonuses, and guarantees a drop of 1 Talent Fruit.
Attacking creatures displays their health; right-clicking Elite or Boss monsters reveals their talents.
Talent System
A powerful talent system that starts with 5 talent points.
Talents cost varying points; stronger ones require more, and some "negative" talents even grant extra points in exchange for debuffs.
Initially, 10–27 random talents are offered across 6 slots—choose wisely to avoid wasting points.
Diverse combinations enable unique builds: mining expert, economy specialist, warrior, cavalry, archer, tank, assassin, peaceful farmer, explorer, shadow creature, and more. Talents are permanent once chosen (reset items may be added later).

Quality System
Introduces item quality, which affects performance:
- 25% Inferior, 53% Ordinary, 20% Excellent, 2% Perfect.
Quality is hidden until identified with an Identification Scroll, though items can be used unidentified.
Forging System
Use the Upgrading Platform (crafted with cobblestone surrounding an emerald) to enhance gear.
Each attempt consumes 1 emerald and randomly boosts one of ten weapon attributes.
Higher upgrade levels reduce success rates; failure may cause downgrade.
Improve success chances with added minerals:
- Iron Ingot: +5%
- Gold Ingot: +10%
- Diamond: +20%
- Alloy Ingot: +30%
- Low-Grade Forging Ingot (bought from toolsmith): no forging count consumed.
Class Change System
Use a Class Change Scroll (quality-based) to qualify, then complete tasks (track with L).
Death during the task resets progress.
After changing class, death once grants class attributes.
Planned Classes (future update):
Classless, Warrior, Assassin, Archer, Tank, Farmer, Fisher, Stonemason, Carpenter, Bow Rider, Sea King, Blacksmith, Mage, Shield Warrior, Berserker, Thief.
Skill System
Use shortcuts Z, X, C (rebindable in Controls) to cast skills.
Obtain skills from Boss drops or level 4 village traders.
Skill availability depends on your class.
Mana cost and cooldown vary randomly per skill, even for the same skill.
Skills level up with use: each cast gives 1 proficiency. Level required = [current level]² × 100. Upon level-up, mana and cooldown reduce by 10%.
Base mana cap is 100, regenerating 1 point per 60 seconds.
