RPG Prefab Houses 1.6.7
Curse Maven Snippet
What's new
1.6.7
See what is in the way
- When a house can't be placed because something stands in the way (a chest, a furnace, another mod's machine, a player's build), the message now names the nearest few blocks and their coordinates, so you can find and move them. Before, it only said how many there were. The same goes for the mine's warnings, Undo's refusals and land that is protected (it names the first protected column).
Safer Undo
- A chest someone put down where a house was still being built is now left standing, items and all. Before, the build spilled its items on the ground and Undo then brought the chest back full.
- Undo is refused if a block of the house was replaced (not just broken), or if an item in one of its chests was swapped for one that only differs by its name or enchantments. The refusal says which block and where.
- Storage and machines from other mods inside the house now count as yours, like your own chests: take them out before you undo.
- Blocks you have built inside the house since it went in are left standing by Undo, and it tells you how many.
- When the mine's recovery chests are full, the leftover items lie beside them. Undo is now refused once any of them has been picked up, so they can't be kept as well as the rock Undo puts back.
- Storage from other mods that the mine cuts through is emptied into the recovery chests.
If a build fails
- A house that fails part way through building now puts the land back as it was before the price is given back.
- If a house fails to build while its owner is logged out, they get the price back when they return (unless the server restarted in between). If it builds while they are away, they can still undo it once they are back.
Land claims and the world border
- Claims, spawn protection and the world border are now checked for every column a house covers, including the land blended round it and its paths, not once per chunk. Claim mods that claim less than a whole chunk are respected.
- The Builder's Hammer's rule that a house built without its enchanting room can't be given a Magic room is now kept by the server too, not only by its screen.
Smoother on servers
- Placement requests are limited to a few a second per player, and the quick checks (spectator, catalogue, distance) run before a design is generated. The deep mine is dug a little at a time instead of in one go.
- The Builder's Hammer checks distance and whether a house is still being built nearby before it builds.
Fixes
- House previews no longer show the wrong textures after pressing F3+T or changing resource packs.
- A damaged saved-designs file no longer loses every design after the damaged one; an unreadable file is kept as
rpgprefabhouses-presets.json.bad. - The seed box no longer accepts a number larger than a seed can be (it used a different seed than it showed).
- The placement panel shows the price of the house that will actually be placed when the land splits it into levels.
- In the catalogue, C and Enter do nothing when the Customise and Place buttons are greyed out.
- Loading a saved design or a random one no longer keeps basement and mine choices from the previous design.
- A vine on the land round a lot is no longer laid back beside a garden wall it can't hang on.
- The mod's description says 20 genres.
Existing design codes build exactly the same houses. 1.6.6 and 1.6.7 can play together; update both to get every fix. This update is for Minecraft 1.20.1 with Forge; the NeoForge 1.21.1 version has its own 1.6.7.
